The event was attended by Shaghayegh Kermanshahi, Director General of the Central Bank's Methods Organization; Seyed Reza Naseri Nik, CEO of National Informatics Corporation; Seyed Jafar Mortazavian, Chairman of the Board of Faranegar Corporation; and a group of the Corporation's executives.
During the meeting, Reza Khajeh-Naeini, referring to areas of cooperation between the Central Bank and the National Informatics Holding, stated that the methods of cooperation and operational strategies between the two organizations in the fields of policymaking and implementation need to be reviewed and reassessed. He added that the mechanisms of interaction between the Central Bank and the National Informatics Holding should be designed in a way that fosters greater convergence and collaboration between the two organizations, with the necessary guidance provided to strengthen this cooperation. Referring to the development of the National Informatics Holding's activities, Khajeh-Naeini said that the Holding had previously operated mainly in the payment sector, but as its projects have expanded into various areas of the Central Bank's operations, it is now necessary to formulate and implement strategies suited to this expansion.
Continuing the meeting, Seyed Reza Naseri Nik, CEO of National Informatics Corporation, emphasized the importance of a plan-oriented approach within the Holding's activities, stating that a focus on executive and operational matters should not prevent the development of coherent, strategic plans, and that the National Informatics Holding must move more seriously toward a plan-oriented approach.
In another part of the meeting, Mahmoud Karimi, CEO of Faranegar Corporation, said that Faranegar Management and Technology Consulting Corporation, one of the companies within the National Informatics Group, was established in 1379 (2000) under the name "Dadevarzi Faradis," and in 1403 (2024), under a new mission and name, focused its activities on managing multifaceted projects, specialized consulting, applied research, and the development of artificial intelligence solutions in the banking industry. Elaborating on the Corporation's missions and areas of activity, he continued that Faranegar's main mission is to support informed decision-making in the monetary and banking sectors and to provide specialized consulting services in this field. Karimi described the Corporation's areas of activity as including specialized consulting in monetary and banking management and technology, applied research, and artificial intelligence in the banking industry, and said the Corporation currently has coordinated projects with the Central Bank across all of these areas.
It is worth noting that Faranegar Corporation is a specialized organization providing consulting services and intelligent solutions for the country's banking network and monetary institutions. Focusing on areas such as artificial intelligence, regulation, and economic analysis, the Corporation supports informed and strategic decision-making in this industry.
